Different Types of Icing:

Fondant Icing

  • All my fondant-covered cakes have a layer of Belgian chocolate ganache underneath to achieve a sharp edge.

Chocolate Ganache

  • Belgian chocolate ganache offers a great base for your cake.

Buttercream

  • The fluffy buttercream offers a great base for many designs.

Semi-naked Buttercream

  • For those, who do not want too much buttercream, the semi-naked cake is rustic in appearance and goes particularly well with fresh flowers and fresh fruit.

Do you hand deliver all your cakes?

Cakes and baked goods are packaged with great care and attention to make sure they reach their destination safely!

I will hand deliver wedding cakes to ensure they arrive safely and set-up in situ at your venue. It can feel quite a pressure to set up your own wedding cake and I want to take this pressure away from you and allow you to enjoy your wedding day. I will usually get in contact with the venue to check what time I can deliver the cake. If there are any cake toppers and any other decorations needing to go on the cake, these need to be available at the venue or given to me beforehand. We can chat about this.

For a celebration or birthday cake, if you are local and can collect from me at the unit in Tetbury, we can arrange a convenient time for us both or I can hand deliver to you at your venue or where you are staying.

I am happy to discuss any specific requirements you may have when ordering. All items can hand delivered within a 20-mile radius of Tetbury, or further by special arrangement.
